Avoid EVV Claim Denials – Let’s Solve the Top Four Issues Together
Starting June 1, 2025, the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) will begin checking Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) data for Phase 2 and 3. This means any claims without proper EVV matching data will be denied and will not be paid. We're here to support you in claims validation and make sure you're prepared to resolve errors quickly.
During this learning session you'll learn the top four claim errors and show you how to fix them so you can get paid on time.
We will review the following errors and how to resolve:
- EVV – Provider ID does not match (Error Code 6291)
- EVV – Recipient ID does not match (Error Code 6292)
- EVV – Procedure code does not match (Error Code 6293)
- EVV – Unmatched Units (Error Code 6294)
