Hello there,

Your HHAeXchange Welcome Packet prepares you for the transition to the HHAeXchange portal. It will help guide you through the process.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has partnered with HHAeXchange to provide a free Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system for program providers and financial management services agencies (FMSAs).

Personal care services program providers and FMSAs who currently use EVV vendor systems (DataLogic/Vesta or First Data/AuthentiCare) or have recently enrolled to provide personal care services and are not in the proprietary system onboarding process must onboard with HHAeXchange by Oct. 1, 2023.

Home health care services will begin requiring EVV data on January 1, 2024. The practice period for home health care services expansion begins October 1, 2023.

The Welcome Packet provides instructions on how to start using the HHAeXchange Portal. It is your go-to guide for ensuring EVV compliance and offers a detailed timeline for onboarding with HHAeXchange.

Important Next Steps: 

• Register for and attend an Information Session if you have not already. 
• Submit your agency’s HHAeXchange Provider Onboarding Form if you have not submitted it yet.
• Review your Welcome Packet and register for an upcoming training session based on your EVV system user type.
