Learn how you can stay ahead of COVID-19 vaccine mandates with compliance tracking, scheduling updates, and incentives for caregivers to get vaccinated.

New York agencies are facing new COVID-19 vaccine regulation challenges

The last year has brought new challenges to the industry: while more patients than ever need care, caregiver shortages have made it difficult for agencies to provide the same level of service they provided in the past. As COVID-19 regulations change, agencies are tasked with managing caregiver vaccination compliance, on top of everyday tasks associated with providing quality care. To share useful best practices and resources, HHAeXchange has created some tools for agency administrators below.

Track caregiver vaccination status for simplified compliance and scheduling

Track vaccination status for your caregivers in the platform with configurable settings including caregivers with medical exceptions to receiving the vaccine. Additionally, within the medical compliance module, you can set up warnings and validations to ensure caregivers who have not yet been vaccinated are not scheduled for any visits. Visit our job aid to learn more about how you can update your settings in the platform.

Share tools and incentives with caregivers to drive higher compliance rates

Providing resources to your caregivers that make vaccinations more approachable can help your agency retain staff and drive higher compliance rates. We’ve partnered with the National Minority Health Association (NMHA) and leading homecare provider AccentCare to help launch Flex for Checks – a program that pays healthcare workers to get vaccinated.

Caregivers are also able to track the status of their agency-required medical records and vaccinations directly in the HHAeXchange mobile app to help them stay compliant with trainings and medical regulations.
