 Self Direction EVV Welcome Letter

 

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is implementing Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for the Self-Directed arrangements involving
Fiscal Intermediaries/Financial Management Systems (FI/FMS) in partnership with HHAeXchange. A formal Welcome Letter has been issued that outlines EVV requirements, expectations, and available options for FMS providers. We encourage you to review the letter for full details:

    What You Need to Do Now

    To support a smooth implementation, please complete the following actions:

     

    1. Complete the MI Onboarding Form
    If you do not have an HHAeXchange portal already, you are required to complete the onboarding form to confirm participation and identify whether you will:

    • Use the standard HHAeXchange EVV system, or

    • Integrate a third-party EVV system

    Complete the MDHHS Provider Onboarding Form 

     

    2. Register for an Informational Session
    Join a Get Ready for EVV informational session to learn more about EVV requirements, provider responsibilities, and next steps for Self-Direction.
