Florida EDI Specification Updates:

New Missed Visit Reason Codes

We’re reaching out to notify you of an important update to the Florida EDI Code Table. A new set of Missed Visit Reason Codes has been introduced and applies only to the following payers:

• Sunshine Health

• Children’s Medical Services (CMS)

The complete list of new codes can be found on Third-party Knowledge Base.

Please note:

• These codes are specific to Sunshine and CMS payers only.

• They do not apply to other Florida payers.

• The Knowledge Base will be updated to reflect this clarification shortly.

What You Need to Do:

• Review the new codes in the EDI specs

• Ensure your system integrations and configurations reflect these new payer-specific codes
