HHAeXchange and Healthfirst are pleased to announce a new feature being rolled out to streamline the process of billing different rates for different Lines of Business. This new feature, Service Code Bundles, enables you, our providers, to select the appropriate service code/Line of Business combination based on the specific member. Additional information on this useful feature can be found in the Service Code Bundles job aid.
Once available:
- Where applicable, you can manage your rates by service code and Line of Business within HHAeXchange at the linked contract level. Please navigate to Admin>Admin Contract Setup>Billing Rates within your support center for additional instructions.
- You will be able to build master week schedules using any of the relevant service codes within the bundle authorized by Healthfirst. The member’s Line of Business, if needed, can be found in the Program Code field on the member authorization.
- If needed, you can apply a member specific rate at the member profile level. Please navigate to Patient > UPR> Added Rates Page for UPR Linked Contract Patients within your support center for additional instructions.
The Service Code Bundles feature is expected to be available to all linked providers on or before Monday, Dec. 5, 2022. You will be notified when this ready. Once available, your next steps will be to review and add rates to the new service codes. You can then begin scheduling using these bundles for any new members and new authorizations you are receiving.
